TERUKI BLOG ENTRIES- 03-23-10 ~~ 04-01-10
We're SO SORRY for the late update!!
Our internet connection was super horrible and we were really busy this past week -_-;;

I officially love Teruki even more now!!
Since he said he reads his blog messages, I sent him a message and he mentioned us on his blog!!!!

Haruhi and I were SO excited~!! XD
I know everyone's doing it already, but if you haven't, you should try sending him a message on his blog. He really appreciates them and reads them all the way ^_^v

I got to enjoy drumming yesterday too☆ I got a little too excited, so now I'm so tired. And then at night I went to go see a certain folk-duo's concert. These days I've been actively going to watch non-visual kei lives too, so I'm gaining new experiences and my new people connections have been growing so it's very productive.

And amongst the people I've been getting to know, many of them tell me this one thing. I'll say this beforehand, but...I'm just boasting here. They tell me "your skin is so beautiful". It's true. People tell me this a lot now a days. They just say it themselves so I can't do anything about it. Yes.

But actually, this arasa- sanotsu (I will translate this for the overseas fans: an around-30 old man) ("arasa" stands for "around sa-tii" which is "around 30" in engrish. And "sanotsu" is a way of saying "ossan" which means "old man") has been using this wonderful facial lotion for about half a year now. I'm sure you all know about it, but it's "Rice Force". Up until this, I never did any kind of skin care, and the make-up person used to tell me something along the lines of "as the years pass by, you start to wear out". At first I didn't care about it that much, but considering the fact that the other members are all pretty young(^_^;) I started using Rice Force. The other day I went to the after party of a friend's wedding, but this old female friend of mine, who I hadn't met for about 10 years said "Your skin is so nice! Are you using some kind of facial lotion?", so I recommended Rice Force to her!

Don't give up! On your skin(`-ω・´)b

(here is the entry about us!! Hee hee ^_^)

I love it, so I will work hard.

I got a message from a Japanese Cafekko who lives in America. She's using her stay in America to her advantage, and with her younger sister, they translate blogs and magazine interviews and such from the Japanese bands. Isn't it such a lovely story.

Last year during our world tour, these 2 "Japanese people living in Germany" helped us translate. One of them was a person named Masa-san. And the other was Midori-san. Both of them loved the western music like hard rock and heavy metal so much that they visited Europe so many times to go to festivals and such, and then they both got married and decided to live in Germany. Midori-san got married to a German person. Masa-san got married to a Japanese woman who he became friends with after going to all those festivals. Both of them weren't planning on becoming translators or anything from the beginning. They just used the environment they were in, to their advantage, and they arrived at the situation they are in right now.

Either way, taking advantage of the environment you're in, and being a help to other people is really a wonderful thing. Long time ago I used to just do band because I liked music. But then as I continued doing AnCafe, people would be able to gain courage, be able to smile, and be able to sincerely cry with our music, and as we became somewhat of a support to people, I started to feel happiness. No matter how small that is, it makes me so happy, and amongst those people there were Cafekkos who said "I swore that I won't be defeated by bullying" or "I won't ever think of wanting to die again". I'm this small of a person, but even if it's a small thing, if I could be a support to someone that would make me so happy, and happy, and happy, it's so strange...Because everyone made me realize that weight that I have on my shoulders, every time AnCafe stepped up, I was able to cry about it. Thank you so much. AnCafe has really taught me so many things. Even when we're on a break right now. Because there was AnCafe, even on days that are not directly connected to AnCafe, there are many things that I can learn.

I wonder what I will be doing next year or the year after that(^_^) In this long life, there might come a time where I'll be engrossed into something more than music. 10 years from now, I might be all into pottery-making or something(laugh) Some day I want to live in Okinawa again too. Depending on each moment, I would like to live while working hard doing what I like!

The picture is the Hard Rock Cafe that I went to with takuya in Los Angeles.

I want to go to South America-.

There was a series of warm days that felt like spring, but today was very cold. Every day I don't know what kind of clothes I should wear when going outside(-_-;)

Today I went to drum school in the evening. I have drum school once every month. These days I'm seriously reforming my senses. I'm really starting to realize how much I was slacking off up until now...But I'm definitely going to get better! The other day when I went out drinking with Kanon san and takuya, I told them "Just to let you know, I'm already getting way better right now"~.

Anyways, yesterday I got messages again from Cafekkos in Mexico and Argentina. They went out of their way to write it in English for me, thank you thank you. In Mexico everyone speaks English? And I'm pretty sure in Argentina they speak Spanish, right? They probably wrote it in English so that I could understand. Thank you. I'm putting them into a translator and reading them☆ Sometimes they turn out to be weird translations, but when I look at the words I could basically understand what they're trying to say. Thank you so much.

The picture is Argentina. I met a Cafekko on the street, but she was so good at Japanese. She was definitely better than Yuuki(laugh)

The power of children.

I went into studio again today. Yesterday and today was pretty much the same. Today and tomorrow will be pretty much the same. Tomorrow and the day after that will be pretty much the same too. But when you compare today and a month later, I will be a little bit more advanced. That's how it is with anything. I will work hard tomorrow too(^_^)

Yesterday I got a call from my mother. When I tried to pick it up, it hung up so I called back again. Then, my mother said "Oh, did you get a call? That must've been Haru. She just came up to me and handed me the cellphone and said "hai", so I just said thank you~ and took it". The culprit was my little niece, Haru-tan☆ She's so cute. Even these little things can make a full grown adult happy, the power of children is so amazing! Then this morning I got a mail from my older sister. She said "I'm sorry Haru called you yesterday~. I looked at your blog with Haru. Haru clicked an applause for you". I'm so h-a-ppy-!(*`θ´*)

The picture is Haru-tan who fell asleep while still eating a sushi roll☆ I'll be able to work hard tomorrow too!!!

Today I had 2 studio appointments. My body got a little tired, but my mood is energetic! I'll go into studio tomorrow too.

Yesterday and today, I got messages from Cafekkos in Spain, Mexico and Argentina. And of course from Cafekkos in Japan. Amongst the Cafekkos in Japan, there were people who said "As I read Teruki san's blog, I start to feel closer to the Cafekkos overseas. I want to become friends with them". I'm so happy. And, regarding the entry I wrote the other day about the memory stick I got from the Mexico Cafekko, the actual person sent me a message saying "please use them as you like". So I decided to upload them☆ There were a lot of pictures in the memory stick, and I'm pretty sure they were all group pictures of Cafekkos taken in different districts or something. There was a Yuuki cosplay too(^_^) I remember in Mexico, there was a basketball court behind the livehouse, and we all played there, but the air was so thin that we all got so tired right before the live(laugh)

Ooh, it's already this kind of time(x_x) I'll stop here today! Good night~.

You're working hard.

The other day, I went out to drink with the company president of this certain music company. That was the first time we met eachother, and we just happened to be drinking together. Up until midway we didn't know what kind of job each person was doing(laugh) then, midway through, he said "you look like you do a band or something", and that's when I first introduced myself saying "I play the drums for a band called Antic Cafe, my name is Teruki". Then the boss said "Oh AnCafe!? I know that! AnCafe is in the company of OO-san, right!".

OO-san was a very important person in our company, who died last year...then when I answered "Yes it is! You know OO-san?", the boss continued by saying. "I was actually an artist too at first. I was the bassist. But OO-san told me 'you will be more successful as a staff person, rather than an artist', and it turned out exactly as OO-san said". That made me realize that, that person really influenced all kinds of people and left this world. When he said that story it really made me feel sentimental.

That person was an important person, so he rarely came to the office, but in the end he was still that person who made me nervous by just meeting him. But in every word he said, he had persuasive power, and with that person's one word, everybody's opinions overturned. That's the kind of presence that he had.

And there was this one beautiful thing, that that person always told me. I don't know how many times I've been supported by those words. The one phrase that he said was "you're working hard".

When you're having a tough time, or when you're tired, and someone tells you "you're working hard", you start thinking positive and think "this hardship and suffering isn't going to waste". You feel like, you're not just being troubled or suffering for nothing, you're suffering all this right now so you can advance forward!

And then you start getting this rewarded feeling, like "there really is someone who is watching all this effort I'm making" It makes me really happy. It makes you want to work harder.

Every time I met that person, he told me "Oh. Are you doing ok? You're working hard". I was actually suffering and feeling really tired, but when that person told me "you're working hard", for some strange reason I energetically replied "oh not at all! I'll work harder!", and it really made me feel that way. I felt like "I can't feel tired with just this! I need to work harder-!".

I forgot when it was, but one time for the merchandise we made a card case kind of thing. I think my color was green. At that time, I used the phrase "you're working hard" as my one-word message. I thought, since those words became a support to me, it would be nice if it could be even a little bit of a support to everyone too. I don't have the same kind of tolerance as that person, but...no matter who you hear it from, I think it is a phrase that makes you a little bit happier.

Now I want to meet him again.

Let's speak with the sky.

Both yesterday and the day before that, I went to go watch a live.
The day before yesterday there was a live for Crack 6. Crack 6 is PENICILLIN's Chisato-san's solo project. But when I actually got to the livehouse it was so crammed that I couldn't get in(^_^;) I was watching the screen at the lobby.

That day, I got to talk to O-JIRO-san about electric drums, and after the performance, I went out to eat with Chisato-san and HIMAWARI-san☆

I'm going to change the subject, but...
Do you guys remember a while back when I talked about "the escape route for your heart"? When you overly work too hard, when you overly think things, when you overly get hurt, no matter how strong of a person you are, you feel down. You need a place of escape for your heart. For example for me, I try to get away from Tokyo and go to some far away country-side and just be by myself not thinking about anything, or I like to get swallowed up in nature, whether it be the ocean or the mountains, or I go back to Sendai and meet my parents. I want to hear about everyone else's "escape route" too.

Oh, I got a URL for a Mexican Visual-kei fansite from a Cafekko in Mexico! On the top there was stuff written about me! It made me really happy☆ Also, I got a lot of messages from the Japanese Cafekkos saying they "want to see the Yuukikki cosplay!" so I will upload that next time!

April Fools.

Today in the afternoon, I went to do some costume fitting with Junior-san! We have 2 photoshoots next week. It's the first one since AnCafe went on a hiatus. It makes me really happy.

But then on the way back, I went to Shibuya to do some shopping, and this one Korean man came up to me.

Man "excuse me~. May I take a picture of your fashion?"

Teru "it's ok, but are you going to put it up somewhere?"

Man "it's a Korean web magazine"

What did you say!? I, I'm going to be! This plain and around-30 person! You can't say something stupid like that...but, even though I thought that, I was so happy that I was smiling the whole time!(*´θ`*)

*snap snap*...*snap snap*...*snap snap*...

Lastly he said one thing..."Your fashion is number one in Japan!"

Hey~! What are you trying to do, making this sanotsu (ossan) happy~! You, you☆

But today is April Fools.
Was that guy...

Oh, well!

So anyways, I'm preciously reading everyone's messages. For every single entry, the overseas Cafekkos are doing their best writing english messages to me, and I'm excited to read them, and I really feel like we're getting closer. And as I look at their names, it really does look like most of the people like visual-kei and anime☆ I see the words "AKIBA" a lot(laugh) I have to tell Kanon san next time(-ω-)

The picture is the Mexico Yuuki cosplay that I talked about last time! I wonder if the person in the maid outfit in the middle is cosplaying Bou-kun?

If people have requests for last year's world tour saying "please post this place's picture!" then I will upload them! Of course, a request for a Japanese scenery is OK too. Well then.

If you guys want me to translate messages for Teruki, we can do that too ^_^
Although he says he translates them, they may not be accurate so you can put both english and japanese maybe?...

eeek, how exciting! teruki makes me feel really good to be a fan. i remember them mentioning one time (it might've been miku) that they wanted to have a concert with caffekos from all over the world. i'd love to meet other fans sometime. we wouldn't be able to talk to one another, but we'd have ancafe in common, so maybe that'd be enough.

Could you please write that.. Even thought they're on hiatus, it feels like I have become closer to their music than I was before and my love towards them, has turned into something more beautiful and calmer than ever- I don't like them any less, I like them even more than before but in a more calmer way. And I really wish him and the boys all the luck and that we will be able to see eachother soon again and see how not only them, but we Cafekkos have growned.

That's what I want him to know, I think >__<' Anyways you guys are doing awesome ^_^ /Mel.

You have to register at livedoor, and when you finally have your account, just click the small envelope under Teruki's avatar, and this will take you to the message page. And just write and send!

Is really Rice Force SO good?? Everyone's saying that o_o. I want to try it XDDDD But shipping here is so damn expensive ;___;...
He was talking about you?? Oh, that's so great!! *__* You've been making such an amazing job, congrats ^___^
And I know the girl he wrote about in the entry about Argentina *-*.

I tried to write a message for An cafe, it's been a year from their concert here and I wanted to tell them my feelings and my support. So, I wrote it in my poor, weak japanese and sent it to Teruki and Miku (took 3 tweets there... XD). I hope they can understand -.-U.

Ahh, beautiful. Really, truly beautiful. Thank you so much, dears, for translating this. I'm so glad to have been able to read it, really. thank you.

And also - I put a portion of this in my blog. It says on your profile that you don't mind so long as it is credited - but I figure I would link you, so at least you are aware. ^^; Let me know if you would like me to change something.

nagisannagisan on April 7th, 2010 01:15 am (UTC)
Oh it's totally fine to copy our translations.
It's really not such a big deal, it's just annoying if people take credit for the hard work you did, you know? That's all...
I'm glad you liked the translations ^_^
nyappyallthewaynyappyalltheway on April 6th, 2010 08:38 pm (UTC)

I swear you guys are soo sweet!! ;_;
I really shouldn't read Teru's entries so late at night, they make me feel soo emotional ^-^;

That guy's awesome, I really should write him a message too, sometime...
Or plead Ancafe to come to Belgium to show that there are Belgian cafekko's as well, eventhough I might be the only one...

Thank you soo much again for translating, this really is a nice way to get through their hiatus :)
You guys totally deserve to be mentioned :D

Maybe I should wait with that message...
They might think Belgian cafekkos are totally overreacting groupies ^-^;

Thank you for trnalsating!!
